Great article published in the Red Deer Advocate about long time Alberta Thoroughbred breeder and owner, Dr. Brenda Abbey. Dr. Abbey recently spoke at the 2015 Owners and Breeders Conference about the work that she does with ‘Healing with Horses and the Impact of Interactions with Horses on the Human Brain.’ She uses Thoroughbreds as therapy horses and works one on one with children at Peaceful Valley Stables near Didsbury.
